Prevention EHR Retention Brochure

Prevention EHR Retention Brochure

Retention is crucial for continued provider success in utilizing EHRs to ensure that patients receive potentially life-saving preventive services.  It’s normal for practices to encounter challenges when implementing a whole new way of managing and documenting patient care. This communication piece will help you communicate the important message that by sticking with the project, practices will not only improve their quality of care, but be well positioned to qualify for Medicare payment incentives.

If any QIO would like to customize this Prevention EHR Brochure, they may contact Anthony Culver at aculver@tnqio.sdps.org.

Evidence Based Clinical Interventions
Evidence Based Best Practices

MPRO, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Michigan, has created this tool for use with practices to help identify topic specific evidence based strategies for improvement.  They encourage the practice to reconsider strategies that may not be listed for the specific topic.  Once the practice chooses an intervention, MPRO helps them incorporate the activity in their workflow so that it does not become burdensome to complete.  Taking the time to incorporate the activity into the workflow helps to ensure that the intervention remains sustainable.
