The site details elective surgery and emergency department waiting times at more than 900 public and private facilities around Australia, providing comparisons to national public hospital performance statistics where data are available. Data reported is based on the latest available information provided by state and territory health departments and private hospitals to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare
